Black River Technical College鈥檚 (BRTC) Vice President of Student Affairs Jason Smith, J.D., was awarded the Dr. Mossie Richmond, Jr., Outstanding Leadership Award by the Arkansas Student Affairs Association (ArSAA).
This award recognizes outstanding student affairs leaders from Arkansas who have made significant contributions to ArSAA. The Dr. Mossie Richmond, Jr., Award has been awarded for the past 30 years and is the highest honor one can receive in student affairs in Arkansas.
鈥淭his award has a lot of meaning to me,鈥� Smith said, 鈥淢y mentors, Dr. Rick Stripling and Dr. Lonnie Williams, both won it many years ago at Arkansas State University.鈥�
