Justin Beck, recent graduate of the Practical Nursing Program organized a fund raiser among the nursing students to benefit the Children\’s Homes, Inc. in Paragould. Justin wanted to raise awareness for the shelter, 鈥婥hildren\’s Homes, Inc.,听which was founded in 1955. The shelter began with just four children and now has nine residential cottages on its campus. The cottages听provide children with a home environment. 听Children鈥檚 Homes does not receive financial support from the Department of Human Services or from the federal government.
