Dowdy is a 2012 graduate of Greene County Tech High School. She is married to Trent Dowdy and together they share three children, Liam, Miles, and Vivian. She is seeking a degree in nursing.

The Nightingale Scholarship is sponsored and chosen by the BRTC nursing faculty and staff. Recipients are chosen based on qualities that exemplify the spirit of caring embodied by Florence Nightingale. These nurses are motivators and visionaries who contribute to the redefining of the profession of nursing

David Stone of Conway has been awarded the Eldridge Leon Neece Memorial Scholarship.

Stone is a 2007 graduate of Conway High School. He is the son of Jayme Stone of Russellville and Dennis Stone of DeQueen. He is married to Erinn Stone and is seeking a degree in criminal justice.

The Eldridge Leon Neece Memorial Scholarship was created in memory of Eldridge Neece, father of BRTC Vice President of Finance and Administration Rhonda Stone. After moving back to Arkansas in 1972, Neece worked for DeClerk LP Gas until his retirement in 2006. Neece also served as a deacon at Sutton Free Will Baptist Church for nearly 48 years. He was known for his warm smile, generous spirit, and unwavering support, touching the lives of many with his kindness.

Watson is a 2024 graduate of BRTC's GED program. She is the daughter of Amber Shepherd and Curtis Shepherd of Pocahontas, and she is seeking a degree in general education.

The BRTC GED Scholarship is for $1,000 in both the fall and spring semesters and is eligible to GED recipients who enroll in 12 credit hours.

Drue Krauss of Pocahontas has been awarded the Keith Sutton Memorial Scholarship.

Krauss is a 2021 graduate of Pocahontas High School and she is seeking a degree in nursing.

The Keith Sutton Memorial Scholarship was created in the memory of the late Keith Sutton, who was the Mayor of Pocahontas, by his wife Stephanie and their family and friends. Mayor Sutton served his community in many ways. He dedicated three decades to his auto body repair business, Auto Efx., before running for mayor. In 2018, Sutton was elected Mayor of Pocahontas, and he held this position until his passing in December 2023.
