91原创 hosted the First Horizon Lecture Series: 鈥淐ryptos! Ready or Not! Here They Come!鈥� Monday night in the Randolph County Development Center.
It was presented by University of South Alabama, Associate Professor of Finance Dr. Chris Lawrey.
Lawrey presented information about cryptocurrencies. He explained how blockchains are formed, crypto coins are mined, and how they are exchanged from person to person. He also spoke about potential problems with using cryptocurrencies and how governments around the globe are forming their own cryptocurrencies, including the United States.
Lawrey also presented the lecture to BRTC Financial Accounting and Managerial Accounting classes.
