On August 31, BRTC held a COVID vaccine/booster clinic on the Pocahontas and Paragould campuses. 听It was open to students, staff, family members, and the public.听听The clinic was held in 1st Choice Healthcare\’s mobile unit. 听Staff not only gave shots but provided tours of the new unit. Participants received freebies and a $50 VISA card.
Sixty-nine COVID vaccines and boosters were given to faculty, staff, students, and community members. Nearly $3,500 was given away by 1st Choice Healthcare via the $50 VISA cards.
鈥淲e were very happy to be able to offer these shots to our students and the community,鈥� said Dane Dillion, Director of Student Development.听 \”These types of events make a lot of difference to students.\”
